Condolences to the Bilderback Family

Yesterday as we mourned the passing and celebrated the life of Roger Bilderback I could not help but think of the verses in Isaiah that I had shared with Roger and the family during his last days. Here they are.

The Lord Is My Strength and My Song

Isaiah 12 You will say in that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
for though you were angry with me,
your anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.

“Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day:

“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.

“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth.
Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”

I was also thinking much about this verse in Isaiah.

Isaiah 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you.
Be our arm every morning,
our salvation in the time of trouble.

Today I continue to pray for the family and friends and asking God for His comfort and that each one of us would consider eternity and if we have salvation in the way the God see salvation1.

If I can help in away as you deal with your loss please reach out to me.

Have a great day racin’ in the SONshine,

Pastor Todd

God wants us to see we have all sinned. He wants us to admit to our own sin. He wants us to reach out to Him, to Jesus as the only way. He wants us to surrender to Jesus as LORD and Savior and follow and obey Him. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:9; John14:6; Acts 4:12; John 14:23,24)
